How to read this comparison

The starting scenario assumes one investment option. Where applicable, it uses one Fiducian fund, no SMAs or external funds, no cash allocation, and two remaining ORR deductions at the disclosed maximum. These are comparison assumptions, not your account details. Open “Adjust assumptions & details” on a product to change them; closing that section keeps your changes. Option-specific fees and unknown rates are not invented.

Figures estimate one year at a constant balance and investment mix. Actual deductions use the provider’s balance dates, rounding and charging periods. A partial estimate shows known charges only; missing data is never treated as $0.

The default subtotal includes selected account deductions. The investment-returns checkbox adds costs reflected in unit prices and separately disclosed reserve-funded costs. Reserve funding is labelled separately; it is not an extra debit from your account. Turning a fee off changes the comparison, not the fee the product charges. A product with no separate account fee can still have substantial investment costs.

Select the correct super or pension account, investment option and unit class. Custom MERs are your assumptions and should include all relevant underlying costs without double counting performance fees already inside an aggregate rate. Amounts follow each source’s disclosed fee and credit basis; fund-level tax benefits and fee rebates can differ. Any identified gross/net qualifications appear with the product and fee breakdown.

Advice, insurance, buy/sell spreads, brokerage, tax and one-off activity fees are excluded unless a reviewed schedule explicitly includes them. Low-balance refunds, family aggregation and negotiated discounts may need a separate assessment. Compare features and investment risk as well as costs.

Comparing a portfolio of specific options

Open “Adjust assumptions & details”, then “Build a portfolio” where a reviewed menu is available. Select each option once and allocate 100%. The tool weights option costs, while account fees, caps and rebates use their documented account basis once. For cash-account products, allocations apply to the invested balance after the separate cash amount is removed. Initial and retained minimums, unit classes and permitted mixes can differ.

Holding counts come from the selected investments where the menu classifies them. Blended rates use reviewed disclosures; they are estimates, not forecasts or a promise of exact future deductions. Unknown rates and unsupported mixed-fee conditions remain partial. A published total with an unconfirmed deduction method can be included once when investment-return costs are on; when off, that charge remains unresolved. Selecting a portfolio does not change the default-off cost setting.
